Putting Penguin Note: Since our original review in 2003, there are new owners of this miniature golf course. They reached out to us and we allowed them to add some notes about what has changed from the prior review. The following are not the thoughts of The Putting Penguin, but do give some color as to what has changed since our visit. Please feel free to stop by and give us an updated review for the site to compliment the owners’ thoughts below.
Owners Notes:
We are the new owners of the Schooner Miniature Golf course since 2007. The course was built in 1988 and is one of the largest 18 hole miniature golf courses in the area. We have been hard at work bringing it back to its original beauty. If you haven't been to Schooner lately, its time to revisit us. We have given the entire property a fresh, new and inviting appearance. We also added a spacious deck for you to enjoy your favorite ice cream treat and just relax and enjoy the scenery. The property is well maintained and the course is quite challenging. We also have one of the few outdoor batting cages in the area with speeds ranging from 25mph slow pitch softball up to 60+mph major league base ball. At just $2.00 per token you can practice your batting skills from April to September (cages usually come down after Labor Day)
