This is a new mini golf course that is a part of a complex that includes a driving range, golf academy, and restaurant.  The mini golf has an “around the world” theme, but does not execute it well at all.  Only four of the 18 holes actually have something from another part of the world.  There are Egyptian pyramids, Greek columns, Easter Island Moai, and Arctic penguins.  We (especially Putt) were very excited about the penguins on the course, but sadly that excitement did not transmit totally to the rest of the course.  On a couple of the holes (#3 and #7 among others) there were difficult shots that we thought should be to your advantage if you make the putt by putting your ball close to or right into the hole.  But the result wasn’t any better than if you shot right for the hole or it landed your ball in an even worse position.  Overall the layout of the course was very good.  The tee areas were very open, and the course was handicap accessible.  It was well swept and the plants on the course did not interfere with play.  The water looked good and the bricks lining each hole were in excellent condition.  For a new course that looked so good we were surprised the score cards were so generic and didn’t have the pars listed.  (The pars were listed on the sign before each hole.)  It’s also a little odd that you pay for play at a window outside the restaurant that is attached to the bar. The putting penguin would only recommend this course if you happen to be in the area, mostly because it’s so expensive, and we were disappointed in the “around the world theme.”  However, the course is very well maintained and in good shape so it is an enjoyable game of miniature golf.

The Mini golf is open again, and you can pretty much take Pat's review and simply change the date! There are a few changes. For one, the price is reduced to $5 for both adults and children.
The shrubbery is getting overgrown, and the water wasn't on. We agree that it's to no advantage to take the hard way around, when given a choice. Still has a cheap generic scorecard, but it does have a plinko box to drop your ball in at the end of the round. The course is OK, but if you combine it with dinner at their restaurant, you'll have a pretty nice time. Rhode Island has so few courses, any one is a good one to us!
