The good people at Star*Land emailed us about their course when they put it in and we finally got a chance to play it. Overall, all 27 holes are part of a good championship style course. Unfortunately when we played them they were unable to run the water as the construction company they used screwed up their water systems and it was being fixed. This also had an effect on the landscaping as work was just completed in some sections and everything had been dug up. (The course owners mentioned that they were a bit unhappy with Atlantic Miniature Golf and would be switching to Harris for construction purposes).
Although we didn’t shoot very well that day, the course itself isn’t too difficult. Most of the holes are common to many championship style courses and most are able to be made in two. The pars on the courses also seem a bit high so even with an off round one cane come in at or under par. Also the price may seem a bit high because of the simplicity of the course, but we’ve noticed that the average prices for courses have gone up recently and it’s not too far from other courses. It’s definitely one of the better courses in that section of Massachusetts and worth stopping by on a sunny day, especially when there is so many other activities to do when there.
