This course is part of a three course complex on the resort island on Sentosa in Singapore. It is labeled as an “American” course as it is styled with the typical artificial green grass carpet. Unlike most American courses, the Adventure course is essentially carpet and the hole without any of the typical obstacles seen on an American course, hence the “2” rating for difficulty. If you can read the greens and putt with the proper speed, you can score low on this course.

There is little creativity on this course. The course is built into the side of a hill, so you get a terraced effect. A number of holes have small ponds surrounding the holes which would result in a waterfall effect; however, the water was off when I played the course so only stagnant pools were visible. The only hole of any real interest was number 13, which was situated in a cave with the hole protected on the left by a large rock. This hole would probably be considered the signature hole of the Adventure course.

Sensota is a tropical area and the course is lush with green, exotic plants. Squirrels, lizards and tropical birds are seen on the course. The course was judged to be a bit worn, with carpet seams coming up in some spots and leaves from the plants on some greens. The climate is 90/90/90- that is 90 degree F (32C), 90% humidity, 90% of the time. Prepare to sweat as you climb the terraces!

This course was judged to be easiest of the three courses in the complex and is probably maintained for the amateur or family groups just looking for an outing. The other two course are much more serious and challenging!
