The obstacles on this course are creative & I also personally think the par is set too low for the difficulty rating. This course was a staple of my childhood - unfortunately I do not think it has received any maintenance in the 35 or so years since - which lowers the atmosphere score. Also didn't really like the feeling of being stared out while playing since the course is so close to an extremely busy road. Also hard to find staff.
2022 Update
I had reviewed this course a few
years ago & given a low atmosphere score as the course was not well
maintained. While playing a new course in the area I decided to play this for
nostalgia. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the wooden frames had been
rebuilt and the course had been recarpeted. There was a charity event happening
that evening so staff was
present & friendly- happy to see this course worth playing again.
