For those not familiar with the Monster Golf franchise, they are a series of Halloween/Scary Monster themed indoor courses.  Overall, these courses are very appealing to the eye, with glow-in-the-dark attributes everywhere and a lot of fun sculptures and paintings on the walls.  They all come with the trademark clown 18th hole as well.  The paintings are often themed to the location they are in and the music that accompanies a round is always a great mix of rock favorites and more contemporary upbeat tunes.  This course, like all of the others we have played, fits the mold in all of these aspects and it’s great to know that you get the same level of play and fun no matter what Monster Golf you play.

The play at this location felt to be slightly more difficult than other Monster Golf locations as most of the holes were long and involved several banks.  The holes themselves are similar to other Monster Golfs and there was a lot of repetition throughout the course save for one or two different style holes.  A majority of them were just a combination of trying to hit it as hard as you can to make 3-4 angles toward the hole and there was a couple uses of the corner sloped cup and volcano cup.  There were very few ace opportunities.  In this course we also noticed a few sections where the seams of the carpets were rather noticeable and had a small impact on the play.  One of our players also noted that the animatronics at this location generally seemed a little aged with noticeable gear movements and sounds.

Overall this course is another is a great line of courses from this franchise. Similar to other courses we imagine it would be a crazy location on a rainy summer day but it’s definitely a great place to get in a round when the weather outside isn’t cooperating.
