This course has its share of good points and bad points which net out in the end, leaving an average miniature golf. The course is well laid out and winds its way around the grounds, meshing with the flowing water. The course has very creative signs for each of the holes, keeping with the nautical/pirate theme of the course. It offers complimentary bug spray and nine of the holes are handicapped accessible (these holes are played twice to get the full 18).The course also features a decent sized pirate ship towards the end, but sadly it is pink and made of concrete which takes away from the coolness of it when youíre up close and playing the hole that resides on the ship.

This leads us into the bad points of the course. The carpets were worn in some areas and a few near the water had some extensive water damage. Many of the holes lacked any distinctive starting area. The one multi-tiered hole (which is 4 levels long, a first for us) seems to be designed so that if you hit it in the hole on the top level it will travel to the bottom of the level in one shot.Unfortunately, that doesnít always happen as the ball can get stuck in some ruts that obviously werenít included in the original design of the hole. One final note (which doesnít really reflect anything on the course itself, but we just felt we had to make it): the entire staff was wearing Yankees T-shirts.They obviously didnít get the memo that in Massachusetts, people root for the Red Sox.

When itís all said and done, this course (as well as its sister course: Crystal Falls) is the worth the cost of admission.Itís definitely one of those courses that can be played a few times, but not one thatís going to stop you in your tracks and make you beg to come back five or six times a year.
