There are two courses on site, the Castle Course and the
Western House Course. They are side by
side. We played the Castle Course, but
the Western Course looks to be similar in design and quality with just a
Western theme instead of a Castle theme.
When we played (5/19/2017), the water was not turned
on. The water flowing could make the
course that much more attractive and could increase the atmosphere. The course was well maintained with fresh
carpet, good cups and trimmed shrubbery.
The course was moderately difficult with some holes
containing swales and undulations that require pinpoint accuracy to play the break
to score well. There are also a couple
of fairly uniquely designed holes that make it a challenge. Some holes on the back nine tend to break
away from the cup and require careful reading of the area around the cup to
score well.
