This course gets high marks for atmosphere due to it's location and condition. The location is right on the Boardwalk in front of the Atlantic City Convention Center on one side and the beach and the Atlantic Ocean on the other side. The course is grass carpet in good condition, with rough white carpet for "sand traps" and rough green carpet for "rough" on selected holes. Management is very friendly and will take your picture, if you have a camera with you, at the end of the round. 50's music was playing on the sound system during the round.

The course is fairly straight forward with no carnival type obstacles. The course difficulty is enhanced on certain holes with hole location behind natural obstacles (rocks, pilings, etc.), length, and position of "sand" and "rough". The course is made more difficult by having thick steel rims on the cups, which makes accuracy and speed of the putt critical to holing out.

There were some interesting holes with multiple paths, and some banking on longer, curved holes. Some uphill putts and some dips also made play interesting.
