Unlike some of the other regional parks we’ve played in Virginia (Upton Hill and Cameron Run) this course doesn’t really play like its own stand-alone entity.  With the others, you could take away all the park stuff and still have a very good miniature golf course.  Here the course is more of a side attraction, something to do while you’re drying off from playing in the water park.  It is the type of course one would expect in a regional park.  The course doesn’t really have much to offer as it’s not kept up too well.  There was debris everywhere and it made sinking most putts impossible.  The only good thing about the course is that it only cost $1.75 to play.  If you’re at the park for other reasons (there are lots of other things to do there recreationally), then paying the $1.75 to play a round isn’t bad.  However, if you’re just looking to go play miniature golf in this area, we suggest looking up Dulles or Perils of the Lost Jungle, which are both true miniature golf courses and are fun to play.
